What it is

What is Yotta Trading Platform?

Yotta Trading Platform manages the lifecycle of a trading strategy: research, registry, backtest, paper, live, and risk. It owns the trading-domain records — instruments, market data feeds, brokerage connections, strategies, backtest runs, trade intents, orders, executions, positions, risk decisions, and kill switches — while reusing Agent Platform for the research and execution agents, workflows, tools, data sources, targets, approvals, and audit that already power the rest of yotta_bot. Backtesting is first-class and runs without broker credentials; live order routing is gated behind explicit promotion, risk gates, and compliance review.

Capabilities

What Trading Platform gives your team

These capabilities are grounded in the planned Trading Platform service set and the cross-product surfaces it inherits from yotta_bot

  1. 01Strategy registryVersioned strategies with parameters, universes, and explicit draft → backtest → paper → live promotion state
  2. 02Research workspaceUniverses, research runs, agent-produced briefs, and signal candidates that feed the strategy catalog
  3. 03Backtesting firstReplay datasets, cost / fill / latency models, simulated orders and executions, full reports and comparisons — no broker credentials required
  4. 04Instruments & feedsInstrument master, symbol mappings, calendars, corporate actions, and a capability-modeled feed catalog (trades, top of book, depth, replay)
  5. 05Paper & live executionTrade intents, canonical order requests, broker orders, executions, positions, and reconciliation — live routing disabled until compliance review
  6. 06Risk & kill switchesPer-account and per-strategy limits, price collars, daily loss limits, restricted lists, feed-freshness checks, and kill switches across product, account, strategy, agent, or symbol
  7. 07Agentic operationsResearch and execution agents come from Agent Platform. Agent-submitted orders enter as trade intents and pass through risk + approvals before any broker call
  8. 08Governance & auditApprovals, entitlements, compliance reviews, and audit run on the same identity, policy, and logs infrastructure as the rest of the platform
